Have you ever had that feeling that if people really knew you, they might not think you’re so awesome? You want to be the bees knees to everyone, right? BUT, you’re also human, which means you’re completely imperfect, and sometimes as much as you’d love to think you’re amazeballs, it can feel hard to keep up all that self-love. “Ugh, why did I say that?!” “Oh no, did I offend her?” (yep.)
“Wow, I can’t believe I just said that to my child.” (You did.) “I knew that partnership wasn’t right but I was in such a hurry….I’m such an idiot!” (You’re not, but it feels like it.)
Or one of the biggest ones: “I thought my business was nailed down…you’re telling me what? Our sales figures are WHAT? Two staff people are leaving and we have to move offices? They no longer want to buy it? Huh?!?” It’s hard to enough to adapt to our internal turmoil, much less the dirt our businesses kick up.
