You know that feeling you get when you’re about to sneeze – your eyes get squinty in anticipation of it coming, your nose tickles in that way that’s hard to describe and your mouth starts to open….And then instead of a satisfying “HACHOOO” – it just disappears. Why does that feel so…unrequited? You almost get a restless feeling afterwards because what was started couldn’t be finished.
That’s kind of how unexpressed talent feels. There it is – you see it – there’s evidence of it in the world because people are positively affected by your work – but there’s not volume, there’s not distribution – it doesn’t feel big enough. You can do you even more, you feel that tickle inside of potential, but for whatever reason, it hasn’t found a way to a greater audience.
One way to do this is by getting new business. More clients and customers give you more channels to express talent and good work. You’re changing more lives, putting something worthwhile out there to more people, in different ways, than you might be doing now.
So how do you go about doing it?
