SMARTY is a community for entrepreneurial women. The company was founded to give small business a home and hub for learning, growth and connection and to give entrepreneurs a medium through which to share resources, support one another and procure critical information needed to grow and scale their businesses. Headquartered in Los Angeles, SMARTY is in the process of licensing multiple leaders who will bring the SMARTY methodology and culture to cities across the country.

AMY SWIFT, FOUNDER SMARTY

Amy is entrepreneurship-obsessed. Her background as a copywriter over the last 10 years has lent itself to helping small businesses find their voice and niche in the marketplace and big businesses sell mega products and services. She’s worked with Tommy Hilfiger, Christian Dior, Bath & Body Works, Ralph Lauren, Nautica, Coy Fragrances, MGM/MIRAGE, Mandarin Oriental, L’Occitaine to name a few. As a small business expert, Amy has helped launch thousands of businesses and ideas. Prior to SMARTY she was editor-in-chief of Ladies Who Launch, co-author of Ladies Who Launch, Creativity and Entrepreneurship As A Lifestyle (St. Martin’s Press), and the co-developer of the Ladies Who Launch Incubator program. She was the founder of the Los Angeles and Orange County Incubator communities, which grew to several hundred women in four years. Amy regularly contributes to the Huffington Post, LA Mom’s Blog and has been a contributing editor for Contents Magazine, New York Magazine, Cooleh, and Magazine 365 among others. Lucky Magazine calls her a “Madison Avenue arbiter of Style.” Amy is committed to creating a culture where small business owners can grow and thrive using sound business practices, creativity, integrity and the power of a dynamic community.

Amy has moderated dozens of panel discussions on the subject of entrepreneurship. She has been a featured moderator for Step Up Women’s Network, the Anderson School of Entrepreneurship at UCLA, USC Small Business Clinic and as a speaker for organizations all over the country.

FACILITATOR:
SMARTY conducts courses throughout the year, many facilitated by Amy. Amy advises hundreds of women on how to strategically grow, brand, develop and scale their sole proprietorship or entrepreneurial endeavor. She has translated ideas into products and is an expert at connecting the dots for entrepreneurs who need help toward realizing their dreams.
